As I mentioned, True Blue and all other specialty coffee roasters have a lot to thank Stabucks for. True Blue also benefits greatly for being much smaller than Starbucks.
Some differences between True Blue’s Organic Fair Trade Coffee and Starbucks are:
True Blue is:
- 100% Fair Trade (all varieties, we sell NOTHING else).
- Micro-Roasted in very small batches (15lbs or less).
- Roasted fresh to order (doesn’t sit in some warehouse).
- The highest-quality beans available anywhere!
These attributes are especially important when it comes to wholesale coffee. Businesses want THE BEST products for their valued customers. True Blue is THE BEST coffee available.
Restaurants, cafes, hotels, and convenience stores brew coffee daily. They want to make sure to keep their customers happy and coming back for more. True Blue Coffee Roasters has the most complete line of wholesale Organic Fair Trade coffee available to business.
]]>As True Blue’s brand recognition keeps increasing, our coffee should offer our wholesale customers a great opportunity to make big profits. Research shows that consumers are demanding more Organic and Fair Trade products, and True Blue has the BEST line of coffee- you have my word on that.
We are looking for more opportunities with our wholesale coffee. If your business is interested in selling a truly superb line of coffee, or if you want to take the coffee program at your restaurant or cafe to the next level, please contact True Blue.

]]>But, there are some coffee drinkers who might really enjoy Starbucks coffee, not just one type but all of it. Who? Since Starbucks is known to roast all their coffees slightly darker than the average coffee drinker prefers (OK, I’m going easy on them), people who prefer a darker roast might like them. Or maybe since there are so many Starbucks in the U.S., some people have simply become used to the taste of Stabucks. And the convenience of having so many locations brings people back again and again.
This isn’t going to be a bash Starbucks post, True Blue really owes alot to them. If it wasn’t for Starbucks making higher-quality coffee so mainstream, micro-roasters like True Blue probably would not exist. There wouldn’t be enough demand for great coffee to support us. Starbucks made their customers want even better coffee, so specialists like True Blue are thriving.
So, may I ask you? Since I’m sure you’ve tried Starbucks in the past, have you tried True Blue? If not, let me recommend our Papua New Guinea (medium roasted). Then you can answer the question yourself…Is True Blue better than Starbucks?
]]>This post isn’t really meant to be a shameless plug for investment capital. Needing investors is just the by-product of such a remarkable story that I thought it was fitting to write about it. First, True Blue started as sort of a hobby, which eventually became an expensive hobby. As our founders decided that True Blue deserved to become a full-fledged business, they put a management team together. And with that True Blue started selling thousands of pounds of Organic Fair Trade coffee…NOT! They were actually giving away more coffee than they sold, but one thing emerged- they had the desire to become big. It was more than a dream, they REALLY wanted it!
When I first talked to Richard Smith, True Blue’s CEO, it was spring 2007. I realized something then that still resonates in me, he really wanted success. And the same for Rob Luzader, our Chief Operations Officer, he really wanted success, too. It was addictive, being in contact with them made me want success for True Blue. I HAD to be involved, a part of their journey into what seemed like a sure bet. I found myself day-dreaming at times…True Blue Coffee Roasters would surely be big one day, much bigger that I could even imagine.
To make a long story longer, I did become more involved in True Blue (I became True Blue’s Chief Marketing Officer and one of the owners) and we have grown substantially. No, we are not a common household name, YET! But, we will be, it’s just a matter of time. And I can assure you we will not rest until then. You have my word on it.
So this post is actually intended for all those out there who have their own dreams and goals but are currently sitting on the fence…do you want success? Do you want it really bad? Are you willing to make sacrifices for it? If you’ve answered yes to all the previous questions then do something about. Don’t wait another day! I don’t care what your dream is, start working hard for it, today! I bet you’ll look back in a year and be amazed at the incredible progress you’ve made.
As one of those household names puts it, Just Do It!
]]>We also have continued to upgrade our marketing support to wholesale customers and now offer many great options totally free. Most interesting is our press release service we offer customers. It an opportunity to generate some free buzz about their businesses.
Recently we put together a press release for one of our wholesale customers, Eastside Mart in Providence, RI. They had really put alot of effort into upgrading their store and wanted put the word out. We all were very pleased when we checked the exposure the press release helped create. The press release was linked to by many websites and shown prominently. It also helped us solidify our business relationship with Eastside Mart.
Is your business interested in carrying the best Organic Fair Trade coffee available? Is your cafe ready to take its coffee program to the next level? If yes please contact True Blue for more info about our wholesale coffee program. Your customers will thank you.
